| Meet Virginia | Until one day, she found the tiniest of errors in the mathematics. She took it to her manager. He brushed it off and told her to go back to work. So she took it to *his* manager who practically yelled at her for doing so. "Mr. Stark did those numbers himself. If you have a problem, take it up with him!" he said. "Fine, I will," was her answer. "Fine, you're fired." So now, with nothing to lose but her dignity, she stormed into Tony Stark's office, ignoring the arguments from his secretary. But before she was able to say anything, the security came in and started to drag her out at which point she yelled, "Back off! I have pepper spray!" Tony immediately burst out laughing and told the security to let her go. She sheepishly came in front of his desk and apologized for her outbreak. Then she pointed out his mathematical error which immediately got his undivided attention. "I don't really have pepper spray," she added. "I know. You're a terrible liar," he mused. He asked her name, and when she replied "Virgina Potts", he said "Well Ms. Pepper Potts, where do you work in my company?" "I was actually just fired," she said with a humorless laugh. "I'm surrounded by lairs around the clock. I could use someone like you who has a problem lying. How would you like to have that office, Ms. Pepper Potts?" And he pointed to the office just next door that belonged to rude man who had fired her. "But someone already has that position." she said. He shrugged. "Well, then he can have your old job." "Fine, just please stop calling me Pepper." "You'll get used to it." And that is how Virginia came to be the personal assistant of Tony Stark and how she received her nickname, Pepper. She has been working for him for the past seven years. He has changed a lot (now a self-pronounced superhero called Iron Man and starting a project called the avengers). Not too much has changed with her. She's as diligent and hard working as ever. The only difference may be the slight crush she refuses to admit she now has on her own boss. ~*~*~*~*~ This page is for Pepper Potts role play only.
